In 2025, our photovoltaic systems at the location in Hollenbach generated more than 450,000 kWh of solar power, increasing electricity production by 8 per cent compared with the previous year. This has enabled us to increase the proportion of our electricity needs that we meet ourselves, whilst the remaining electricity demand is covered entirely by green electricity.

Expanding sustainable energy supply
Another milestone was the commissioning of a fuel cell in 2025. It has already generated 245,000 kWh of electricity and also supplies heat and water for fire prevention in the Autostore warehouse. Together, the photovoltaic system and the fuel cell make an important contribution to reducing external energy consumption, increasing energy efficiency and ensuring a resource-efficient energy supply at our location.
